1- Clean up photos

If you have photos just laying around, now is a great time to organize them into dates, categories, however you think is best. If you have photos on your computer, now is a great time to organize those, too! It’s actually a lot easier to organize them if they are on your computer because you can see when they were taken, placed into folders, albums, etc. Don’t let the multitude of photos stop you from starting. It may seem like a daunting task at first, but it will make finding that perfect photo easier next time plus you’ll love the feeling of reminiscing through your memories!

2- Go for a walk

The best thing to do right now to keep sane, get fresh air, and some exercise is to go for a walk around your neighborhood. You’re used to traveling so what better way to explore your surroundings? You might even find yourself near a nice pond or see some cool animals that would make great photography! With that being said, practice your photography skills by taking a lot of photos at different angles and different times of the day. And, since we’re talking #socialdistancing, remember to move away from people 6′ if they’re coming your way.

3- Learn a language

Let’s be realistic. I’m not talking about becoming fluent, unless you’re a genius of course. But, I’m talking more about being able to communicate the basics so when you do go back to traveling internationally, you can get by. You’ll also impress people on your new acquired skills. I strongly have always believed that you should know some basic phrases like “Where is the bathroom?” “Hello.” “Where is…” “Thank you!” “Good morning.”

4- Make a vision board

One of the best ways to set goals is to make a vision board. However, it doesn’t make any sense to make one of these and not place it in a place where you’re going to see it everyday. Even glancing at it daily will remind you what’s important to you. Some things you can include are people you love, places you want to go, and things you want to finish or accomplish. Don’t let fear stop you from doing what you want to do.

5- Support travel bloggers

This one just makes sense to me. If you’re a person that travels quite a bit or just loves everything that has to do with travel, why not support travel bloggers? They are there to inspire others, give useful advice, and a lot of time learn about great deals you never would have heard about. They also make for a great chat community. If you haven’t thought about this, go and find a travel blogger that fits your style and support them by reading their articles, subscribing to their blog, and following them on social media.
