Maui Island Sands Resort is a condominium-style resort located in an off the beaten path of Maui and is situated right on the beach. We stayed in room #608. It is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath oceanfront condo. This place has great ventilation. You can keep the windows, lanai door and front door open (front door has a screen door) and get a wonderful cross-breeze.

• The first photo shows the hallway and front door from the inside of the room. You can see the screen door. When we were there in 2011, if you opened this door early in the morning we got some ashes from burning brush. So we learned quickly NOT to open the main door early in the morning.
• The second photo shows the lanai and a sneak peak of the indoors. We kept this lanai door open while we were there.

INDOOR VIEWS

The kids’ room was very clean, tropically decorated, and provided comfort for our two boys. Two twin beds were perfect because there was no fighting as to what side they would have to choose if it were one bed.

This condo is very roomy and big enough for 4 people. It is well kept, clean, and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

OUTDOOR VIEWS

The outdoors are absolutely gorgeous! Although this beach is not one you can walk on, it is beautiful to wake up to and breathe in the fresh beach air. The property has a pool & grilling area for cooking, which is great when you want to spend more time outdoors.

I highly recommend this place if you want to be secluded, but still have the beauty and comfort easily at your reach!
