Huli Sue’s BBQ & Grill will make you believe you are on a tropical Hawaiian island getaway. They serve some of the most delicious Hawaiian BBQ Grill on the mainland that will leave your mouth watering when you first see it. While we were in Asheville exploring, our family of 4 decided to stop here for lunch. It is a cute restaurant located in the historic Grove Arcade. I love that this small business started with the owners desire to bring back their passion for Hawaiian food and fuse it together with their love for Texas style BBQ to North Carolina.

The Outdoors

As you walk up to Huli Sue’s you’ll see one of my favorite colors (yellow) decor of a patio with tables & chairs. I’m sure they probably chose this color because it’s sunny & brings happiness.

The Indoors

If you love Hawaii like I do and you love food (who doesn’t) and you don’t smile when you walk in, then I don’t know what to say. When you walk in you are immediately welcomed with the Aloha vibe.

The Food

Now to my favorite part – the food! You’re not just welcomed in from the decor, but the staff is also very friendly. There were so many delicious sounding dishes on the menu that it was hard to choose, but we finally decided on the following dishes pictured below! Everything was so good!

I highly recommend Huli Sue’s BBQ & Grill if you live in Asheville or are just visiting with family. What more can you ask for with reasonable prices, a welcoming atmosphere, good service, and great Hawaiian BBQ food! Then you can head back and relax at your resort at Fairway Forest!
