Pinellas County, the county in which this city is located, has many things to offer visitors and this is why this growing city with charm is a destination you won’t want to miss especially if you’re close to this area.

Stroll Main Street

Make sure you head down to Main Street. This street is the heart of Safety Harbor. As you stroll through town this gazebo holds special events from time to time. It makes for a great rest spot as you spend a morning or afternoon here. Or, perhaps, you just want to people watch.

I don’t know about you, but I love to go into small businesses and check out what they sell, make or provide. It’s also great to support our local businesses!

Try your fishing skills or have a picnic near the water at this Marina Park. You can get a great view of the water from here!

Shops of Safety Harbor

There are many shops in Safety Harbor, but this shop really caught my attention. Accents by Paula is a gorgeous store turned from being the historical site of The Hotel Frances. This is what I love about Safety Harbor. It is rich in history, has a culture of its own, and designers display their work. Make sure to visit her Facebook page!

Restaurants of Safety Harbor

After strolling Main Street and shopping, you can work up an appetite. You will get hungry by just the smells emanating from the restaurants. If it’s a beautiful day, you will definitely want to sit outside at many of these restaurants.
