I am a bilingual (Spanish/English) woman born and raised in the U.S. I taught Spanish for 13 years. I am the brain behind this entire travel blog. I love to see new places and taste new foods. I love the mountains, ocean, city, and everything in between, but if I had to choose a favorite, it would be beach-side living. For those that know me well, they know I love all things that have to do with Hawaii & Disney! I love the sun with cool breezes, but I also love thunderstorms, especially at night! I digitally scrapbook as a hobby all our travel photos. I have an awesome husband, Bill, of 27+ years and two smart sons. If I had to say one unique thing about me it would be that I was literally held as a baby by a famous western actor that has since passed on and you know him by John Wayne. This was in California where I was born. I also love to sing and made my city’s top 10 version of “American Idol” back in 2009. I am grateful for the many blessings in my life given by my savior Jesus Christ and I am not ashamed to say it.
Bill is an avid reader of mostly historical fiction, loves all things that have to do with Sci-Fi and has been watching Star Trek since forever. We have been to many comic-con/sci-fi conventions, including San Diego Comic Con. He works hard to provide for our family as an IT Manager, so of course he is a genius with computers! He is also great at do-it-yourself projects around the home. On his downtime, you will most likely find him drinking Coke/Pepsi Zero on the computer at home or reading a book.
Christopher is a Generation Z young man that absolutely loves everything to do with new and upcoming technology. He gets that from his dad! He is the one I call for computer help if my husband isn’t available. He loves and works in creative media & communications. He likes to play video games, is super talented on the drums and dabbles on the acoustic guitar! He plays the drums for our church and we’re so proud of his accomplishments. He is a Senior in college!
Jacob is the extrovert in our family! He loves performing in musicals & background work such as camera operating. He loves to make people laugh ever since he was very young. He likes to play video games, watch TV, watch football, play sports and is a black belt in Karate! We’re proud of how long and hard he has worked with Karate. He is a die hard N.Y. Jets fan! And that is an understatement! He is also a Senior in college studying production, directing, and broadcasting!
Leia he is a full-blooded German Shepherd and is as sweet as can be. She, like many puppies, is super playful and full of energy. She also loves people and enjoys belly rubs, treats, walks, and running in the backyard. She is now a big part of our family and we welcome her with arms open wide! Her birthday is February 10th. She was born on 2/10/23.
